Fall/Winter 2020

In FW20, Solid Homme will continue the Bauhaus series, the brand’s core theme. This season, it will pay attention to the works of Grete Stern and Horacio Coppola, leading avant-garde photographers among young meisters who actively engaged in creative activities in their native countries after graduating from Bauhaus. Reinterpreting the avant-garde photographic techniques used in New Bauhaus works that emerged in Buenos Aires, Solid Homme embraced them in details such as typos and graphics. This season’s collection features checks in updated classic materials, vintage twills, hairy knits, bouclé, and combinations of glossy and technical materials. Following the SS20 season, cheerful and vivid colors are used, as neon color palettes continue to be popular. Earthy tones (camel, burgundy, and petrol green), which are popular in FW seasons, are used diversely, striking a harmony among different tones within the collection. Tones expressing nature, including neutral, mineral, and ecru, are proposed and used extensively as the base colors. In line with the global social trend of using eco-friendly materials, the collection also features various items in faux fur.
